Joe counted two impressive special teams tackles from Bucs rookie tight end Bauer Sharp and a power finish to a run after a catch.

Joe has zero doubt the seventh-round pick out of Louisiana State University will make Tampa Bay’s 53-man roster. He’s already flashed more special teams talent than fellow tight end Devin Culp. And that’s where the Bucs need help — and ability.

Todd Bowles told Joe on Wednesday that he was looking tonight for a player to make a name for himself covering kicks. That was Sharp. One one tackle, he completely sacrificed his body.

Through three quarters, Sharp had three receptions for 17 yards. One finished with him running over a defender with his head lowered.

Sharp seems to epitomize the new attitude the Bucs are seeking.
