Everton reveal Hill Dickinson Stadium changes ahead of Lille friendly
Everton fans will get their first look at a refreshed Hill Dickinson Stadium this afternoon, when the club hosts Lille in its final pre-season friendly before the Premier League opener against Crystal Palace next weekend.
The club confirmed a series of matchday changes for the 2026/27 campaign on Thursday, including a £4.50 pint trial introduced after feedback from the stadium’s first season on the Bramley-Moore Dock waterfront [internal link: Hill Dickinson Stadium guide — placeholder URL].
Two new food outlets arrive this season. The People’s Bakery will serve a new pie range, including a Chicken Balti Pie, with proceeds supporting Everton in the Community. A dedicated Chip Shop opens on Level 2 of the South Stand. Pepsi’s outlet on the Budweiser Plaza remains in place, serving an exclusive Toffee Edition drink for supporters.
Elsewhere, the number of concourse shelving units has been doubled, giving fans more space to set down food and drinks, while the Doritos Experience in the Upper East Stand continues into its second season.
Club View credit will also become usable at self-service machines later in the campaign, Everton said.
The club described the changes as part of an ongoing evolution rather than a finished job, with further phases already under consideration — including additional branding within the seating bowl and treatment of exposed concrete areas around the ground.
Today’s friendly against Lille marks the first time supporters will experience the changes in person, though it falls a week before the stadium’s competitive season opener against Palace.
