Chelsea dropped some clues in their final training session before the Real Sociedad friendly, as there were numerous absences.
The clock is ticking down fast, and let’s be real, the Chelsea squad is massive right now. We simply have to get players off the wage bill before deadline day.
And with so many new faces coming through the doors at Cobham, keeping everyone happy just isn’t going to happen.
We’ve already seen non-stop transfer chatter around big names like Enzo Fernandez, but there has been some actual moves on the exit front, with Benoit Badiashile heading to Napoli on loan.
Now, there could be two more players heading out the doors at Cobham.

Well we have to something for turning him into a better Player than he was after coming in also somehow we have to balance the Books,I rather see him playing some where else then the Englisch Premier Ship
You may well be right as it has all been the usual sleight of hand or forked tongue. Do you think Enzo is worth 120m, the price BlueCo have put on him. Obviously nobody else does
Liam Delap and Tosin Adarabioyo missing from Chelsea training
Eagle-eyed Chelsea fans were quick to spot that Tosin Adarabioyo and Liam Delap were missing from training (Chelsea website) ahead of the Blues’ last friendly with Real Sociedad.
Reports have emerged of Delap potentially moving to join Cesc Fabregas’ Como side, with an exit looking almost inevitable before the deadline.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have decided that Adarabioyo is free to leave this summer after the signing of Maxence Lacroix and the large number of options at centre-back.
Chelsea’s striker situation if Liam Delap was to leave
If Liam Delap moves on before deadline day, it’s hardly panic stations up front, but it certainly clarifies the hierarchy.
Joao Pedro looks tailor-made to lead the line after his red-hot pre-season form. Then you’ve got Emmanuel Emegha returning to full fitness, but there are injury worries surrounding him.
Throw in Nicolas Jackson and Danny Welbeck, who are likely to play back-up roles, with the latter bringing his experience after an impressive season at Brighton.
And there could even be a scenario where Jackson leaves too, with interest from Aston Villa and other clubs to secure his services.
