Victor Osimhen is being linked with a move to London yet again, with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur being earmarked as potential destinations

Victor Osimhen did not rule out a move amid links to Arsenal. The Galatasaray forward has been linked with a £58million move to north London, with Tottenham Hotspur also being linked to his signature.
The Nigerian is perennially linked with a move to the capital. Not so long ago, Chelsea were the ones hoping to sign him when he was at Napoli, until the Blues decided the transfer fee was out of their budget.
Fast forward to 2026, Arsenal are contemplating a move for the Nigeria international after his name was mentioned while Mikel Arteta's side were discussing potential moves to Istanbul for Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli. The Telegraph reports that Osimhen's availability has been discussed in talks between the two clubs.
With the rumours linking him to the Emirates Stadium constantly bouncing around, Osimhen was asked about the links. While he did not immediately rule out an exit from Galatasaray, he also insisted his focus is fully on the pre-season.
He said: "There are always rumours in transfer seasons. I will take care of my business. I am focused on my job, then we will see and think further.”
In 2023, Osimhen made it abundantly clear his dream is to one day in the Premier League. At the time, he was still firing for Napoli, who were on their way to lifting Serie A.

"I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me," he said after being named 'Best Foreign Athlete of the Year' by the Italian Foreign Press Association in 2023.
"A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I'm in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.
"I'm working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but like I said, it's a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well."

At present, Arsenal have Viktor Gyokeres leading the front-line, with Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus also available as centre-forward options. Defensive midfielder Mikel Merino has also had a knack for scoring when deployed as a striker by Arteta in the past.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, but the Spanish heavyweights are reportedly demanding more than £100m for the Argentinian. The Gunners have endured plenty of frustration when it comes to their forward targets this summer.
They have already failed in bids to sign Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior this summer, who opted to join Chelsea and remain at Real Madrid respectively.
