Reports suggest attacker agrees Liverpool exit in potential £70 million transfer
Initial reports from the Netherlands suggest that Cody Gakpo has reached an agreement in principle with Spurs.
The rumours have been increasing in strength this week that Liverpool could look to sell the winger in order to fund the moves for Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from PSG.

Reports suggest that he has agreed a five year contract that would keep him at the North London club until 2027.
Gakpo exit rumours growing
Gakpo was a mainstay in the Liverpool team under Arne Slot, but many Liverpool fans felt frustrated that Gakpo continued to get selected even with his form at times being poor under the previous manager. Fans also felt like Gakpo’s presence in the side blocked the pathway for Rio Ngumoha to get more minutes last season.
When rumours of a move for Bradley Barcola were emerging at a price in the range of €120m+, it was inevitable that Gakpo would be linked with an exit.
Spurs emerged as strong favourites for a move in the region of €80 million.
If a move for Cody Gakpo progressed, he would join up with his former vice-captain Andy Robertson, who left at the end of last season when his contract expired.
A huge Liverpool fan, who has been following the club from childhood. My earliest memory of Liverpool was getting my new shirt at seven and choosing the name Djibril Cisse to go on the back.
