How to watch Seahawks vs. Cowboys in and outside of the Seattle area

The Seattle Seahawks get their 2026 NFL preseason started with a home game against the Dallas Cowboys, whom they’ll face in the regular season in a big Week 13 Monday night clash. Even though it’s a preseason game in which starters won’t be playing, it should still be a great atmosphere at Lumen Field for the reigning Super Bowl champions.

If you’re not caught up on how television rights work for preseason vs. regular season, then you’ll want to at least bookmark this page since the process is a little bit different.

Two Seahawks games will be broadcast locally in Seattle on KING-5 NBC television, Seattle’s flagship station for Seahawks preseason games and other local Seahawks television programming. The Week 2 game against the Tennessee Titans will be nationally shown on FOX on Sunday, Aug. 23, while the finale on Aug. 28 at the Kansas City Chiefs is back on KING-5.

The first thing to note is that KING-5’s broadcasts are also shown on other television affiliates in the Seahawks’ secondary markets, which is great news if you live in Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, and Hawaii. Then there are mobile and online streaming options whether you’re in Seattle or overseas!

Here’s a quick How to Watch guide.

When is Seahawks vs. Cowboys kickoff time?

On Saturday, Aug. 15 at 5 pm PT, with pre-game coverage on KING-5 starting at 4:30 pm PT.

Watch live stream on Seahawks.com

For fans in the local market, the game can be streamed on the Seahawks Mobile App and on Seahawks.com. This year there’s a cool new feature if you’re into enhanced audio experience!

As part of the integration, Dolby OptiView now includes Dolby Vision for the first time, giving fans a more vivid, lifelike way to follow the team’s live streaming coverage on the official Seahawks Mobile App and on Seahawks.com. From team press conferences to preseason games for fans in Seattle and their International markets, every moment will be brought to life with brighter highlights, deeper contrast, and richer color in Dolby Vision, making the Seahawks’ iconic uniforms more vibrant while bringing fans closer to the sea of 12s and the gameday atmosphere at Lumen Field.

This is a big deal for our overseas viewers in designated regions where the Seahawks hold local marketing rights. You can also watch on Seahawks.com even if you live in Seattle but don’t have KING-5!

Watch on NFL Network or NFL+

If you are out-of-market, there are other options! NFL Network is carrying the Seahawks-Cowboys game live, so if you’re outside the range of the Seahawks’ television affiliates or can’t stream online then you’re golden. You can also subscribe to NFL+ for access to out-of-market preseason games, Seahawks included. Geographic restrictions may apply for international fans.

That should cover everything! You can always check out the radio affiliates here if you want to listen to Steve Raible and Dave Wyman.
