Liverpool’s pursuit of Bradley Barcola has been handed another potential boost after Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique appeared to hint that the winger could leave the club this summer.
The France international has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield, with Liverpool understood to have identified the 23-year-old as one of their leading targets as they continue to strengthen their attacking options.

Barcola’s situation has become increasingly intriguing following his omission from PSG’s recent UEFA Super Cup victory.
The winger remained on the bench as Luis Enrique’s side secured a 2-1 win against Aston Villa, while his reaction at full-time also caught the eye, with Barcola appearing dejected and seemingly unhappy despite PSG lifting another trophy.
Enrique’s comments in his most recent press conference have now added further fuel to the speculation surrounding the winger’s future.
The PSG boss said: “When a player doesn’t have a smile when coming here, it’s better to look for another solution.”
Those comments are unlikely to ease suggestions that Barcola could be considering his options, particularly with Liverpool continuing to monitor the situation closely.
As exclusively revealed by DaveOCKOP, Liverpool have already moved to test PSG’s resolve by submitting an opening proposal for the winger.
The offer is in the region £100M of plus various add-ons tied to Premier League and Champions League successes the club may achieve.
However, the Parisian outfit are pushing back on the add-ons, as they want more achievable clauses relating to things like player performance for example
They feel that the current propositions from Liverpool are harder to achieve, as Champions League success is hardly guaranteed but is realistic. Back-and-forth between the clubs will continue.
That figure remains below PSG’s valuation, meaning negotiations would still be required if Liverpool are to complete a deal.
Liverpool are also expected to make an opening offer for another PSG winger in the coming days. According to L’Equipe’s Loïc Tanzi, the Reds are preparing their first bid for Ibrahim Mbaye, with the 18-year-old emerging as another potential attacking target.
Further intrigue has emerged from PSG’s own transfer activity, with DaveOCKOP also covering the news that the French champions have reached an agreement to sign Ajax winger Mika Godts, who could potentially fill the void should Barcola depart.
