West Ham are now said to be eyeing young talent Daniel Job as they look to add real depth out wide. It has been a busy summer for the Hammers, who were always expecting to lose a big chunk of talent following their relegation from the Premier League.
The likes of Crysencio Summerville and Mateus Fernandes have left the club, but the work is ongoing to replace those players, with Manor Solomon signed, while Arne Engels is on his way into the club from Celtic.
That deal will cost the Hammers £22million, and there is no doubt that the midfielder will be signed to replace Fernandes, while the Iron are said to be in talks with Arsenal over the potential signing of Reiss Nelson as they look to add depth out wide.
But the recruitment won't end there, and fresh reports have claimed West Ham are interested in an up-and-coming winger in Daniel Job. The Kongsvinger winger has been impressing in the Norwegian league this season, scoring seven and assisting eight in the league, and the season is still ongoing. The Nigerian has 15 goal contributions in just 16 league games so far.
Norwegian outlet SportExpressen have reported: "West Ham have made a €4m offer for 20-year-old Kongsvinger winger Daniel Job." That works out as around £3.4million, which would actually make the 20-year-old a more expensive investment than Nelson, who will reportedly only cost around £3million.

Speaking last week, West Ham boss Santo said: "Everybody is aware that we need players in the squad, we need to get things, but we are taking our time, so we are not making mistakes, but we are delighted with the way the players are working on a daily basis.
“Who comes must bring us something different and improve us. I think we can afford some time (but) not too much. I will speak internally (about the need for new signings), and we are aware of that, but we are taking time and nailing our decision is crucial for this.”

Kongsvinger coach Johan Wennberg said of Job ahead of this season: “I have very great faith that [Daniel Job] will become a very good and important player for us.” He has since added: “I couldn’t be more proud of him as a player. I’ve never seen anything like it, and I’ve hardly seen him lose the ball since he came.”
The club's sporting director, Espen Nystuen, has said: "He is a diamond that we hope we can polish and refine a little so that it becomes good.”
