The ultimate surprise for fans in Texas.

Last night, Megan Moroney played a sold-out show in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center, and she brought out the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for her performance of “Am I Okay?.” I have no doubt the fans there were absolutely thrilled… I mean, what a cool surprise.

You’ve probably heard of the hit Netflix show America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, as Season 3 just hit the streaming platform in June, and the show takes viewers from the first audition all the way through the end of NFL football season for the Cowboys, giving fans an inside at how the DCC organization runs.

I loved the original iteration on CMT Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, though it’s fun to watch the entire process in this new show as opposed to just seeing the ruthless audition process. They’ve definitely tampered down some of the wild commentary, but cheerleader director Kelli Finglass and Head Choreographer Judy Trammell are tough critics. Those girls who do ultimately make the team certainly earn it. It’s incredible how demanding their job is, and most of them also juggle other full-time jobs to make ends meet. However, I think the pay and things of that nature has gotten a lot better since the show has become much more popular.

Kacey Musgraves has also performed with the DCC team before, and even appeared as a guest judge during Season 3 of the aforementioned show. I think Megan’s fans and DCC fans have a ton of crossover, so it was really cool to see them together and of course, Megan had the perfect Cowboys-inspired dress to match the girls’ cheerleading uniforms:

Megan shared some behind-the-scenes clips with the girls, and it looks like everyone was having a ton of fun. I think we need to get Megan on for the Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show this year:

Here’s the full performance… it was incredible:

She sang her last song, “Six Months Later,” in a custom Cowboys-rhinestoned dress which we need in a variety of all NFL teams in my humble opinion:

Megan has just a few dates left in the US on this tour before she heads to Europe:
