Chelsea vs Real Sociedad highlights are now available after Xabi Alonso’s side completed their pre-season campaign with an impressive 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.
Morgan Rogers marked his first home appearance by opening his Chelsea account before Joao Pedro scored twice in the second half to secure the win.

Chelsea started brightly and Rogers provided the breakthrough after Joao Pedro’s initial attempt was kept out.
The £117million summer signing reacted quickest to the loose ball and converted to score his first goal since joining from Aston Villa.
It provided an immediate glimpse of what Xabi Alonso hopes Rogers can bring to his attack. ReadChelsea previously looked at how Chelsea plan to unleash Rogers alongside Cole Palmer, with his movement into dangerous central areas one of the key features of that plan.
Real Sociedad responded before half-time through Jon Aramburu, whose excellent strike brought the Spanish side level.
Chelsea were back ahead shortly after the restart.
Cole Palmer helped create the opening before Reece James delivered from the right and Joao Pedro finished to restore the Blues’ advantage.
The Brazilian then completed his brace later in the second half. Malo Gusto produced an incisive pass through the Sociedad defence and Joao Pedro supplied the composed finish.
Chelsea’s 3-1 victory brought Alonso’s first pre-season in charge to a positive conclusion. The club had identified the Sociedad fixture as their final preparation before the new Premier League campaign, as well as Alonso’s first match managing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. (Chelsea FC)
Rogers opening his account and Joao Pedro scoring twice also leaves Alonso with some major attacking selection decisions before competitive football begins.
Chelsea can now turn their full attention towards the Premier League after finishing their summer schedule with victory in west London.
