Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Brennan Jackson was placed on injured reserve Saturday after suffering a foot injury during Thursday’s preseason loss to the ArizonaCardinals.

The team used the roster spot to sign veteran defensive tackle Foley Fatukasi.

Jackson appeared in three games for the Raiders last season, playing exclusively on special teams.

He had been claimed off waivers after he was released by the Rams prior to the start of last season.

Fatukasi gives the Raiders some more heft in the middle of the defensive line after being pushed around a bit by the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-4, 318-pound tackle has played in 90 games over eight seasons, including 64 starts.

He was a sixth-round pick of the Jets out of Connecticut and spent the last two seasons with the Texans, though he spent most of last season on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.

Fatukasi has 195 tackles, seven sacks and 28 tackles for loss in stints with the Jets, Jaguars and Texans.
