Raiders to hire Alabama football staff member

Alabama football’s assistant wide receiver coach Torrey Gill is expected to be hired by the Las Vegas Raiders, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.

The #Raiders are expected to hire Alabama assistant wide receivers coach Torrey Gill as a quality control coach, a source tells @CBSSports.

Gill became a wide receiver coach at Tabor College in 2016. He then coached the position at Whittier College from 2019 to 2021. He made stops at New Mexico State and Oregon State as an assistant wide receiver coach before joining the Tide’s staff.

Alabama added Gill to its staff in March of 2024.

The Raiders are expected to hire Gill as a quality control coach.
