Liverpool brings its pre-season to a close today, with the Reds facing a double-header against Italian side Como at Anfield.
Andoni Iraola will get two more chances to take a closer look at his side before the 2026/27 campaign gets underway next weekend, with Liverpool making the trip to Newcastle on August 23.
There are still some big decisions for the Reds' new boss to make before then, and he will no doubt be hoping to add some more new signings to the mix as well. We could get a clearer indication of who is in the Spaniard's plans today though - and who might be facing an uncertain future.
With two games in the space of just over six hours, we will likely see something close to a first-choice line-up from Iraola in the later game, but there could be some senior players involved in the first run-out.
Liverpool has endured a mixed pre-season so far, with concerns over the squads fitness levels arising after the back-to-back defeats to Leeds and Monaco. Iraola will and his side will be hoping to step things up today, and head into the new season on a high.
