A typically dramatic transfer window is continuing at Chelsea.
Following Xabi Alonso's appointment, the Blues have snapped up Morgan Rogers, Jordan Henderson, Danny Welbeck, Valentin Barco, Maxence Lacroix and Marco Palestra. But Chelsea aren't done yet, with numerous other players linked as the club moves away from its under-25 strategy.
Transfers must be aligned with sales. The likes of Marc Cucurella, Tyrique George and Andrey Santos have already left and there are likely to be more departures before the window slams shut on September 3.
The Enzo Ferandez saga has been put to bed - at least for now - after Manchester City missed Friday's 5pm deadline to meet the Blues' £120m asking price.
Meanwhile, the likes of Liam Delap, Nicolas Jackson and Tosin Adarabioyo could be on the way before the end of the window. Stick with football.london's live blog throughout the deadline for the latest news and views

Alonso's warning
Xabi Alonso has warned that the pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad may have been the 'last' game for some players.
The Blues finished their pre-season preparations with a 3-1 victory against the Spanish side on Saturday. Following the game, Alonso gave his assessment to club channels, where he sent a transfer hint about some players who were involved in the match.
"It was a very good last preparation game," he said. "For some players it was the first one and the last one. For us, there were some good things, some things we can improve. It's normal at this moment for some players."

According to reports in France, Chelsea want £60m for Nicolas Jackson, who is back with the Blues following his Bayern Munich loan spell.
He could soon be on his way again, with Spurs, Aston Villa and Atletico Madrid all credited with an interest. However, the Blues' hefty valuation is putting sides off, according to RMC Sport.
That is especially so in the case of Villa, who would prefer a loan deal.

Osimhen's Chelsea dream
While Arsenal and Spurs may have designs on signing Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen this summer, it appears he has always had his eye on Chelsea.
Osimhen saw a move to Stamford Bridge break down on transfer deadline day in 2024, with the forward joining Galatasaray on loan instead, before signing on a permanent deal with the Turkish giants a season later.
Osimhen's international team-mate William Troost-Ekong spoke about the striker in 2025, revealing who he supports and the amount of interest he has seen in the star.
