During the Arsenal vs Manchester City pre-match press conference, Mikel Arteta spoke about the availability of Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, and Martin Zubimendi:
“They will be available; they trained with us today, they will train tomorrow, and if they are in the condition we expect them to be in, they will be involved,” said the Gunners boss.
Discussing the injury status of Jurrien Timber and William Saliba, Arteta said:
“Jurrien is progressing really well, he is on the pitch. We are ramping up now with certain actions and especially the volume and the load, and I think he is on a good trajectory, but there are still a few weeks to go. Wilo, as we all know, it’s more a long-term injury.”

Ahead of Arsenal vs Manchester City at the Principality Stadium, Maresca spoke to the press about injuries and availability within the squad:
“The only one is Ryan McAidoo who in pre-season had a small problem but he has already worked with us,” Maresca said at his pre-match news conference.
“So everyone is fit knowing that some of them just arrived two days ago.”
When asked about the availability of Erling Haaland after the Norwegian missed a recent training session: “Yes, he was okay,” said Maresca. “He just had some small things behind his heels but he’s okay.”
The Italian was also asked about Rodri after the Spaniard recently underwent successful minor back surgery: “He’s now in rehab,” the Italian added. “When he’s ready to start training session with us, this is the problem for him.”
