Arsenal take on Manchester City in the FA Community Shield in Cardiff
Arsenal take on Manchester City in the FA Community Shield at Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Mikel Arteta takes on Enzo Maresca for the first time as the successor to Pep Guardiola.
Both sides will lack the match sharpness needed to play their best sides, this being despite Arteta insisting that he wants his Gunners team to be at their best standard. Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Martin Zubimendi who have not played any minutes so far are expected to be in the squad.
The Premier League champions could also hand a first start to new signing Bruno Guimaraes. An opportunity to kick-off the new season with silverware will be the prefect kickstart to the campaign.
All the action and build-up to come on football.london with our Arsenal reporter Tom Canton.
