Manchester City have agreed a deal in principle to sell Spain international midfielder Rodri to Barcelona for €76.5 million (£65.4m).

Rodri has reportedly been angling for a return to Spain for some time, with rumours starting before the FIFA World Cup that he was interested in leaving Manchester City, a club he had been with since 2019.
His stock only rose this summer, with Spain lifting the World Cup trophy and Rodri winning the Golden Ball for player of the tournament, and TNT Sports understands his time at the Etihad is at an end after City agreed a deal with Barcelona.
