“I’m Done” Cardinals Rookie Running Back Jeremiyah Love Out For Pre-Season, Regular Season Up In The Air

According to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter:

Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love is dealing with a high ankle sprain, per sources.

It makes it unlikely that Love plays again this preseason, with the team hoping he can return for the Sept. 13 regular-season opener vs the Chargers.

Fans immediately reacted to this news:

This is why you wait till after preseason to do your fantasy draft

That’s why no1 should play in pre season games like you risk yourself getting hurt

I don’t think any Cardinals fans are upset, they already have it bad enough

All because he played in a meaningless game. Thanks tho James Connor gonna save me in a 32 man league.

Brooo he’s suppose to be my #1 overall pick in my dynasty draft.. get healthy young man

Mike LaFleur’s Arizona Cardinals don’t have very high expectations heading into Year 1, but Jeremiyah Love should be a bright spot.

A rookie running back drafted No. 3 overall in April, Love is expected to become one of the NFL’s most explosive weapons. It is possible that he will contend for Offensive Rookie of the Year with Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Michael Wilson within Arizona’s offense.
