Arsenal's Premier League title defence is just days away, with the Gunners eager to complete more business ahead of Friday's opener against newly promoted Coventry.
While Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis, Illan Meslier and Piero Hincapie have signed permanently this summer, there is plenty of work left to do before the transfer window slams shut on September 1. Arsenal's hunt for a striker has pivoted towards Galatasaray's Victor Osimhen, while Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus could soon be saying goodbye to the club.
Ethan Nwaneri and Martin Zubimendi could also leave in the next few days or weeks. In defence, Jarell Quansah and Ezri Konsa are potential recruits as the Gunners cope with William Saliba's injury absence.
After the Community Shield versus Manchester City, football.london provides a summary of the latest Gunners transfer developments...
Osimhen statement made
Galatasaray have delivered a firm warning regarding Arsenal's pursuit of Osimhen. Turkish reports suggest president Dursun Ozbek has informed his closest advisers: "I will not say 'yes' to any transaction that will harm Galatasaray or not benefit Galatasaray.
"What I said about Baris Alper Yilmaz, I am now saying even more strongly about Osimhen. No matter how much the price is, I am not selling Osimhen."
Despite Ozbek's statement, Turkish publication Sozcu claims that Arsenal remain 'determined' to secure the Nigerian, who has also addressed the speculation surrounding his future.
He said: "There are always rumours during the transfer windows. I'll focus on my job. I'm focused on my work. We'll see and think about what comes next then."

Arteta drops transfer clue
Mikel Arteta has given a strong indication that Nwaneri will be departing the club shortly. Having featured during pre-season, the attacking midfielder was left out of the squad for the Community Shield.
Nwaneri's omission implies he will be moved on before the transfer window closes, with Galatasaray amongst the sides showing interest in the youngster.

Arteta discussed Nwaneri's future prior to the Community Shield, saying: "I want him to be at the club but something is in the medium-long term what is best for the player as well. Ethan needs to play football and if he stays here it's because we can guarantee that he can have those minutes."
Arteta's team selection for the opening competitive fixture of the campaign implies those minutes cannot be assured.
