**Chelsea midfielder Jordan Henderson is still building up his fitness after a wrist injury he sustained at the World Cup.**
The 36-year-old had to undergo an operation in hospital after a freak accident jumping over an advertising hoarding during England’s 3-2 win over Mexico early last month.
Henderson was pictured in training last week, but he did not feature in the last pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad at the weekend.
Considering the veteran’s lack of match sharpness, he may only be ready for selection once the season kicks off.
