Sheffield Wednesday have been credited with interest in an international Liverpool winger
Sheffield Wednesday are reportedly pushing to land Northern Ireland international Kieran Morrison on loan from Liverpool.
The 19-year-old, who can play out wide or in the centre of midfield, has been part of Liverpool’s pre-season preparations and went on their tour of the USA.
However, Premier League opportunities will most likely prove limited in Andoni Iraola’s star-studded squad this season.

Sheffield Wednesday linked with Liverpool winger
According to reporter Alan Nixon via his Patreon page, Wednesday are looking to borrow the highly-rated prospect.
He is said to have other admirers but the prospect of playing League One football in front of a bumper crowd could prove appealing. Earlier in the summer, he was linked with Championship outfits such as Middlesbrough and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Morrison has already made two senior appearances for Liverpool and would arguably be an exciting coup for the Owls.

Sheffield Wednesday attracting young talent
Wednesday have become an attractive destination for young players to head to and have had some exciting prospects in their ranks over the last year.
Henrik Pedersen has been trusted with the development of the likes of Manchester United’s Harry Amass, Manchester City’s Jaden Heskey and Crystal Palace’s Tayo Adaramola.
More recently, he has been given the services of Leeds United’s teenage sensation Harry Gray.

Sheffield Wednesday back in League One action
Wednesday’s League One campaign got off to a positive start at the weekend as Pedersen’s side defeated Leyton Orient 2-1. However, Pedersen was still left wanting more.
He said: “To learn to win after last season, it’s a job in itself and to find a way in different games is a big strength. We need to have more identity, but the boys will grow with the identity.
“We are all sitting with a very big hunger that we want to show more. The boys will grow, and they will grow a lot through the season.
“It’s important to build up the confidence to win, but as I told the boys – we have to deserve to win games. We weren’t good enough in the first half but we were in the second, and this is what we want to have much more of.”
