MIAMI GARDENS, Fla., Aug. 17 (UPI) -- The Miami Dolphins activated rookie wide receiver Chris Bell from the non-football injury list, they announced Monday.
Bell, a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, was placed on the list July 21. He tore the ACL in his right knee in his final game at Louisville, a 38-6 loss to SMU on Nov. 22 in Dallas.
Bell totaled 917 yards and six scores off 72 catches in 11 games in 2025. He hauled in 151 catches for 2,166 yards and 12 scores over 47 total collegiate appearances.
He will join a Dolphins wide receivers room that also features Caleb Douglas, Jalen Tolbert, Malik Washington and Tutu Atwell, among others.
NFL teams must cut their rosters down to 53 players by Aug. 30.
The Dolphins will host the New York Giants in their season preseason game at 4 p.m. EDT Saturday in Miami Gardens, Fla. They will host the Atlanta Falcons in their preseason finale Aug. 28 at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Dolphins will open the regular season against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 13 in Las Vegas.
