Ronald Araujo is wasting no time in endearing himself to the Liverpool fans, as the summer signing received his first minutes at Anfield in preseason.
The defender joined on a season-long loan from Barcelona, with a view to shoring up the backline for Andoni Iraola, which has been creaking in the past few weeks with injuries and key absences.
Araujo's move comes after Hansi Flick told the star that he would not be involved in a regular capacity, with the switch to Liverpool offering him a chance to do just that.
The loan also includes a permanent option, which could see him join on a long-term contract at the end of the season, though his performances on the pitch will play a large role in whether that clause will be triggered or not.
Until then, all the Uruguayan international can do is his best, both on the field and off it, as fans look on and see what they will get out of the new arrival.
The friendly against Como offered up a first glimpse, as Araujo was a half-time substitute brought on to replace Jeremy Jacquet, who impressed on his unofficial debut for the team.

The centre-back's display didn't receive quite the same fanfare, but it was solid nonetheless, as he picked up his first minutes under Iraola, who he will be looking to leave an impression on in the next few days before the opener with Newcastle.
After the match, Araujo went one step further, as he went to meet the fans in the crowd, taking photographs with young supporters while signing autographs.
It was a heartwarming moment from the new star, in an age where players are finding less time to connect with those who watch and support from the stands.
It's an ideal start for Araujo, though the true test will come for the loanee when the season starts later this week, with all focus set on the new campaign.
The 27-year-old is vying for a place in the first starting lineup of the year, with clear competition against Jacquet for a starting place at centre-back.
There is a chance for Araujo to start at right-back, though that will depend on Iraola's stance on Jeremie Frimpong as the main option in that position.
It sets up an intriguing season ahead for the summer arrival, and the new manager, who has an important decision to make surrounding his defensive options.
