Two of Liverpool’s Premier League fixtures in October have been rescheduled, with new dates and kick-off times now confirmed.

Liverpool's home clash with Manchester City has been moved back a day and will now take place on Sunday, October 11, with kick-off scheduled for 4.30 pm BST. The Reds' meeting with Arsenal at Anfield has also been rescheduled, with the Premier League fixture now set for Sunday, November 1. That match will get underway at 4.30 pm GMT. Both fixtures will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK.

Liverpool's trip to Brentford on Saturday, October 17 will remain at its scheduled 3pm. kick-off, while the following weekend's home fixture against Brighton will also start at 3pm.

Neither match will be broadcast live in the UK, meaning six of Liverpool's first nine Premier League games of the season will be shown live to UK audiences.

The Reds' clash with Newcastle had already been confirmed as a 4.30pm UK time kick-off on the opening weekend of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign. Liverpool will then welcome Nottingham Forest to Anfield on Saturday, August 29, with Andoni Iraola set to take charge of his first competitive home game.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 pm. BST. The Reds' trip to Ipswich Town has also been moved to Friday, September 4, with kick-off set for 8 p.m. UK time. Andoni Iraola will then return to the Vitality Stadium to face former club Bournemouth on Sunday, September 20, with that game scheduled to begin at 2pm.

Liverpool will begin its Champions League campaign in the second week of September, meaning the Reds will play just one Premier League fixture per week until then.

Iraola's side wrapped up its preseason schedule with a 2-0 victory over Serie A side Como at Anfield. Cody Gakpo opened the scoring before Jeremy Jacquet, making his unofficial debut following his move from Rennes in July, added a second.

"We are better than we were last week (in the 3-2 home loss to Monaco), but I hope next week we are better than we were today," Iraola told LFCTV. "It's normal. The first halves are better than the second, but today lots of players played 80 minutes, 90 minutes.

"They finished with no cramps, nothing major, so it is keep building these levels, mentally as well, when you are not as fresh, keep the focus so you don't make the big mistakes. It's an improvement, but especially second half, we need to do better.

"We have now the first two weeks of the season, we have full weeks where we can train, we need to train together, some players who started today, we need to build relationships to have these players, to be able to solve problems by themselves on the pitch. We need to analyze what we can improve, especially in the second half today. So we have to use these two or three weeks so we are ready for the new season.

"I think everyone understands we need every player, every time, every minute, and that is the commitment. I am happy with the attitude of the players, I am asking them to do things that is a bit different, especially without the ball, and they are trying to get it. It is not perfect, and we have things we need to improve, but I am very happy with the attitude, the willingness to be on the same page, and we will get there."
