Pedro Neto has found himself subject to some fresh transfer rumors this weekend, linking him with not only Community Shied losers Manchester City, but another sovereign state-funded entity in Al-Hilal. Some reports had gone even as far as to suggest that the Saudi Pro League side had personal terms in place with the 26-year-old winger who started and played the vast majority of our final preseason match on Saturday.
The earlier rumors linking Neto with City carried a price tag of around £70m, which City found too rich for their taste. But now that another team are involved, that price has actually gone up! According to [The Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/08/17/man-city-enzo-fernandez-pursuit-price-tag-chelsea/), we value Neto “at close to £100m”. That’s a lot of value!
Should Al-Hilal agree that there is value in that much value, they have just a few weeks to get a deal done (their transfer window closes five days after the Premier League’s, on September 6).
