As per Fabrizio Romano (via X), Al-Hilal have now scheduled direct talks with Chelsea over a potential deal to land Pedro Neto this week. The Saudi giants have also sent their financial proposals to the Portuguese international, making it clear that they are willing to meet the asking price for his signature.
Tottenham should keep prioritising the Savinho deal
There is no need for Tottenham to be in the market for Pedro Neto’s signature. The Lilywhites are on the verge of completing a deal for Manchester City’s Savinho. It is believed that the Brazilian is pushing for a move to N17 after being left out of the matchday squad against Arsenal in the Community Shield. So, after months of intense negotiations, it is crucial that the North Londoners land Savinho before the transfer window shuts in two weeks’ time.
Not only that, but Savinho also has a higher ceiling than Pedro Neto. At just 22 years old, the prolific winger has plenty of time to develop his game under Roberto de Zerbi and become a household name among the match-going Spurs fans. His determination to join the Lilywhites would already make him a fan favourite at N17. Given his desire to succeed in the Premier League, bringing the Brazilian in would certainly be the right call.
