Todd Boehly is open to selling his 12.8 per cent stake in Chelsea Football Club to majority owners Clearlake Capital.
Chelsea director Mark Walter is also reportedly in talks to sell his matching 12.8 per cent share to the private equity firm.
Clearlake Capital, led by Behdad Eghbali, currently holds a 61.5 per cent majority stake in the Premier League club.
The potential transaction follows reports of a rift between Boehly and Eghbali over conflicting visions for Chelsea, including plans for a new stadium.
With Chelsea now valued at £5bn, the sale would allow Boehly and Walter to roughly double their initial £325m investments made in 2022.
