Liverpool transfer target set to be left out from squad in positive update for Liverpool

Liverpool target Bradley Barcola is set to be left out of the PSG squad while his future is resovled.

The report by RMC Sport and shared on Caught Offside understands that PSG expect the winger to leave this summer.

Barcola would come straight into the Liverpool starting team and bring a star quality that Liverpool may be missing since Mohamed Salah was at his best two years ago, the 23-year-old winger could offer that.

Latest on the Barcola transfer

Barcola remained as an unused sub for PSG as they defeated Aston Villa 2-1 to win the Super Cup having won their second Champions League title in a row. Barcola was used as a late substitute in the Champions League final which went to penalties.

Barcola played 48 times for PSG in all competitions last season, averaging 60 minutes per appearance. With two years left on his deal he has informed PSG that he will not be resigning.

At the moment the clubs are a little bit separated in price. Liverpool made initial inquiries around the €100m price, while PSG are more set on the €170m, but this valuation could come dow if Liverpool also sign Ibrahim Mbaye, who they have reportedly agreed terms with.
