The Gakpo saga so far
Rumours of a potential deal for the sale of Cody Gakpo came up around the time that Liverpool were becoming rumoured to a deal to sign Bradley Barcola.
With Liverpool’s non-homegrown player full at 17 players, the Reds would have to either remove a player from their squad or sell a player to free up a space for Barcola to be registered.
The potential Gakpo deal has been rumoured in the region of €70-80 million, which Liverpool would also appreciate so far as they look to complete a double deal for Barcola and Mbaye, who could cost Liverpool in the region of €190 million.
Liverpool have signed Victor Munoz so far this summer who has impressed so far in his preseason appearances.
