Jack Grealish sure knows how to kick the rumour mill into overdrive.
The Manchester City star was a curious presence among the attendees who watched Cardiff City and Wrexham's Championship season opener on Monday.

Given Grealish's uncertain future at City and Wrexham's well-stated ambitions of reaching the Premier League, some may have thought the former £100million man may have been at the Cardiff City Stadium to potentially watch his next team in action.
But Sky Sports commentators Gary Weaver and Don Goodman were quick to pour cold water on any talk of Grealish joining Wrexham.

"Well, I know that Wrexham have got money," Weaver said.
"Jack Grealish, in attendance here this evening, was playing in the Community Shield yesterday.
"And his big pal, and very close friend, is Callum Robinson from their days together at Aston Villa.
"So, maybe he's given him a ticket to stay on for an extra night in Cardiff - which is a cracking city - to watch Cardiff City against Wrexham, this huge occasion tonight."
Goodman joked Weaver would get himself 'in trouble starting rumours', to which the latter replied: "Always do."

The Bluebirds supporter called out: "Jack, is this a permanent deal or just a loan move?"

Th 30-year-old was treated to the most dramatic of endings in the Welsh capital as Rubin Colwill scored a superb free-kick in the eighth minute of stoppage time to rescue a 1-1 draw for Cardiff.
Wrexham had initially taken the lead in the third minute through Kieffer Moore but could not breach Cardiff's defence for a second time despite firing off 17 shots, eight of which were on target.
As for Grealish's close pal Robinson, he came on in the 80th minute and played his part in helping Cardiff avoid defeat in their Championship opener.
The pulsating finish capped off a bittersweet few days in Wales for Grealish after City lost 3-0 to Arsenal in the Community Shield.
Grealish was thrown on at half-time by new City boss Enzo Maresca in the hope of rescuing a result after Arsenal went into the break with a 2-0 lead.
Unfortunately for Grealish and City, Martin Odegaard struck just three minutes after the break to put the result beyond doubt.
