Everton have entered the race to sign FC Midtjylland star Dario Osorio, who Liverpool have identified as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.

Osorio's primary position is right-wing, which explains the Reds' interest, as they are yet to bring in a like-for-like replacement for Salah, following the Egyptian's move to Trabzonspor earlier this summer.

The Toffees, on the other hand, are relatively well-stocked in that area of the pitch, having already signed Brennan Johnson from Crystal Palace, while Iliman Ndiaye and Tyler Dibling can also be deployed on the right flank.

However, the FC Midtjylland forward is capable of playing on the left and through the middle too, and there are encouraging signs that he could be ready for a move to the Premier League, having picked up 23 goals and 18 assists in 117 outings for the Danish side since joining in 2023.

During the 2025-26 campaign, the Chilean winger created 34 chances in the Superliga, the second-highest number in the Midtjylland squad, and he was singled out for major plaudits by scout Jacek Kulig last August.
