Fabrice Hawkins reports that the Senegalese international’s move to Anfield is progressing rapidly, with Liverpool now accelerating negotiations after Bayer Leverkusen dropped out of the race.

“The Reds will now accelerate negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain. Their objective: to secure the transfer of the 18-year-old Senegalese international this summer.
“While previously linked with the move, Bayer Leverkusen is not expected to pursue the Parisian youth academy graduate.”
Personal terms have been agreed and Liverpool have a free run at the player, so expect this one to get done in the coming days.
