RC Strasbourg Alsace are reportedly in talks with Chelsea over the transfer of Deivid Washington (21), according to information from L’Équipe. The Brazilian is also said to be on the radar of clubs in Portugal.
Signed by the Blues from Santos for €16m in the summer of 2023, the striker has made just three brief appearances for the London club’s first team. Loaned back to his former club in 2025, the Itumbiara-born player failed to make the most of the opportunity, scoring just three goals in 36 appearances across all competitions. A Brazilian Under-20 international (12 caps, three goals), Washington spent the 2025-26 season playing for Chelsea’s reserve team.
Strasbourg, which, along with the Stamford Bridge side, form part of the BlueCo network, could therefore prove to be a great opportunity for the centre-forward to truly launch his career in Europe. Such a move would obviously be facilitated by the links between the two clubs, which have carried out numerous transfers together in recent seasons.
