The Liverpool Echo confirm that the Reds will decide closer to the transfer deadline whether or not to sanction a loan deal for Chambers, who is wanted by Blackburn Rovers.

Chambers scored a goal in pre-season and filled in brilliantly as a central defender despite being a left-back by trade.
He is a talented player, but with Ronald Araujo joining the club and the likes of Joe Gomez and Giovanni Leoni on the comeback trail, it looks likely he will be loaned out later this month.
