Liverpool has reportedly agreed a deal to sell Curtis Jones to Inter Milan after months of talks, leaving a big hole in the Reds midfielder and with a eyebrow-raising change to their overall roster

Curtis Jones looks set to leave Liverpool
Liverpool is set to have no players born in the city in its squad with Curtis Jones agreeing a deal to join Inter Milan,
Numerous reports suggest the club has greenlit a move for Jones to join the Italian giants, with Inter set to pay $41 million (£30m) to acquire him. Jones was heading into the final year of his contract and had been chasing a new deal. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal is now done with the player set to travel to Italy.
Jones follows Trent Alexander-Arnold out of the door, after his move to Real Madrid last offseason. This means the club's last two Scousers have left the team.
Inter had made two previous bid for Jones which Liverpool turned down. The club had always appeared to be open to moving Jones though, perhaps due to his contract expiring next offseason.
Jones looks set to become the third English signing for Inter this offseason, having already brought in John Stones and Djed Spence.

The 25-year-old made a career-high 34 appearances for the Reds last season, but has yet to truly establish himself as a starter for the club - while having a lack of attacking production.
Jones has scored 11 Premier League goals in 153 games, with just one last season.
He had been behind Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Florian Wirtz last season, with Harvey Elliott's return potentially taking further minutes away from him.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool will replace Jones, with fans hoping to see the club bring in another player at defensive midfield - having been overly reliant on Ryan Gravenberch in the past two seasons.
Trey Nyoni
Trey Nyoni is likely to be given a much bigger role this season
The club is looking likely to give Trey Nyoni a much more significant run in the team moving forward, who has impressed new head coach Andoni Iraola in preseason.
Some fans have hoped that Stefan Bajcetic would return this season, but he too has been linked with a move away from the club.
Liverpool also reportedly remains open to selling Cody Gakpo, but is looking to bring in both Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain before moving off of their number 18.
Jones has made 228 appearance for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring 22 goals.
