LeBron James is having a moment of a lifetime. After playing in the league for 23 seasons so far, the Philadelphia 76ers star is enjoying his offseason in the best way possible. LeBron recently shared a heartfelt reminder to his daughter, Zhury, on an Instagram story.
With a series of images on his account, one slide read: “TO MY DAUGHTER; YOU ARE BRAVE, YOU ARE STRONG, YOU ARE KIND, YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING. LOVE DAD.”
His social media activity comes amid the much-needed break he got from active basketball action. The four-time NBA champion recently launched his YouTube channel focused on his newfound love for golf.
The video series kicked off with a reunion of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 NBA championship-winning roster. Alongside James were JR Smith, Kevin Love, Kyrie Irving, Channing Frye, and Tristan Thompson. The former Laker hosted his ex-Cavs teammates at Scotland’s Loch Lomond Golf Club.
Before heading to Philadelphia for his new team duties, James had already had his fans hyped up. The 76ers are the new favorites of his fans to win the ring this year. That could be the reality, given how things have played out in favor of the franchise lately.
After the NBA schedule release for the next season, the 76ers are a clear beneficiary. They have games on all the major US holidays, including NBA opening night, Halloween, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Presidents' Day, Martin Luther King Day, and New Year's Day.
In addition to that, the 76ers also have fewer back-to-back games on consecutive days. From what the fan circles have it, the stars have really aligned for Philadelphia to bring a ring back home after more than four decades.
