When we asked readers to rate Rodri's time at Manchester City out of 10, we did wonder whether we were asking a question we already knew the answer to. It seems we were right.
The Spaniard made his Etihad exit on Tuesday as Barcelona confirmed his arrival. City received £64.5million for the midfielder, and while that's a small fee for the world's best midfielder, it's good business considering he had just 12 months left on his deal.
Rodri will go down as a City legend, having won the Ballon d'Or during his time at the club, not to mention that goal in Istanbul three years ago.
Now we've written all that out in black and white, asking readers to rate his time at City out of 10 seems even sillier.
Of course the majority of our voters gave it 10/10. 61% of voters, to be precise. 24% gave him 9/10, 11% gave him 8/10 and 4% actually gave him 7/10 or lower.
City now face the task of replacing a man who has been so pivotal to their success over the last seven years. The Manchester Evening News has reported that Rodri's departure would not be connected to the signing of Ayyoub Bouaddi, meaning if Bouaddi arrives - as is expected - a replacement for Rodri will still be sought.
