Nicolas Jackson, Liam Delap and Mykhailo Mudryk are part of a group of up to 12 Chelsea players training away from the first-team squad at Cobham, football.london understands.
Blues sources are quick to stress this is not a so-called 'bomb squad' like previous seasons in BlueCo's tenure, and that is emphasised by new signings Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck's inclusion in the group. Instead, it is a mixed group of players training away from Xabi Alonso's senior squad at Cobham.
This news comes just a few days from Chelsea's Premier League opener against Fulham at Craven Cottage. Jackson, Delap and Mudryk are all in a different group and they are working alongside the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Axel Disasi as well as Henderson and Welbeck.

Henderson and Welbeck are being used in that group while the two experienced new signings get up to speed, and who they train with is said to be dependent on their respective workloads and the session Alonso puts on with the main squad.
Alonso is working with the club's sporting directors to try and trim down his options ahead of the new league season starting this week. At the time of writing, Chelsea have 41 first-team players listed on their website, and that doesn't even include Disasi. It is worth noting that does include a few academy stars, who have been in and around the first-team squad in recent times.
A few members of the separate group, who are still using the first-team facilities at Chelsea's Surrey base unlike the aforementioned 'bomb squad' of previous years, are up for sale. Delap is available for a fee in excess of £50million, Chelsea sources insist, while Jackson can leave if his £65m valuation is met.
Emmanuel Emegha, who arrived from Strasbourg this summer, is expected to be in Alonso's plans for the 2026/27 campaign, where the Dutchman is set to fight with Welbeck and Joao Pedro for the No.9 role at Stamford Bridge.
Disasi and Tosin are also expected to depart. The defensive duo both have interest in their signatures from the Premier League and abroad but nothing is advanced at the time of writing.
Mudryk, meanwhile, is available for a loan move. However, Chelsea are yet to find a temporary home for the Ukrainian winger, who recently returned to football following a lengthy suspension.
