Premier League side Tottenham is set to push for several forwards in the market, with Cody Gakpo's future at Liverpool likely to be impacted.

Cody Gakpo continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham in the final few weeks of the summer transfer window, as the North London club pushes to improve in the forward ranks.
It comes as Spurs look to avoid the sort of relegation scare that occurred last season, when it took a victory on the final day to secure its Premier League status.
Work has been completed across the backline and midfield, with high-profile signings such as Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, Sandro Tonali, and Mateus Fernandes.
However, the forward line remains a problem area for Tottenham, with Gakpo identified as a target to help rectify those issues for the new season.

The Liverpool star has faced an uncertain future this summer, with interest from North London coming as a potential opportunity to move on and progress further.
That is despite the winger signing a contract extension just last year, which would take his stay at Anfield until 2030, a long-term deal that wouldn't have come with an exit in mind.
Considering Liverpool's lack of depth in the wide areas, there have been doubts as to whether a move will come about, with the Reds keen on landing Bradley Barcola as potential competition on the left flank.
While the Merseyside outfit is waiting on potential arrivals before an exit can be considered, Tottenham is pushing ahead with other moves in the market.
The Athletic reports that Spurs are closing in on a double swoop for Manchester City pair Omar Marmoush and Savinho, in a switch that will bolster the wide areas and the centre-forward ranks.

It's likely to be a double transfer switch that will come at some expense for the Premier League outfit, but it strengthens some key areas in the final two weeks of the market.
That said, there have naturally been some doubts over a deal for Gakpo as a result, but Fabrizio Romano has added that the Liverpool winger is still firmly in Tottenham's sights.
He claimed that the Netherlands international is one of two potential arrivals out wide, with a deal coming alongside Savinho, rather than instead of.
Meanwhile, Marmoush is viewed as a central striker option, despite his ability to play on the wing, which makes the move for Gakpo still viable.

It will still likely come down to some key factors, such as Liverpool's willingness to sell, as well as any potential price tag placed on an exit.
However, it still keeps Tottenham firmly in the hunt to sign the 27-year-old as the end of the window edges closer.
