Manchester City are in advanced talks with Premier League rivals Tottenham over a potential double transfer to the North London club, according to reports.

Manchester City and Tottenham have been linked with transfer activity between the two clubs throughout the majority of the ongoing summer transfer window, with the London club's interest in Savinho well-documented.
The Brazilian winger first emerged as a target for Spurs during the same transfer window exactly a year ago, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement on a transfer fee, with City rejecting an offer in the region of £70 million.
Savinho would go on to commit his long-term future to the Etihad Stadium through a contract extension until the summer of 2031, penning the agreement in the October, with chief executive officer Ferran Soriano determined to retain his services.
But despite the contractual commitment to the club, the wider belief is that Savinho has personally remained open to an exit and, after a difficult season under Pep Guardiola last campaign, has firmly looked towards a link-up with Roberto De Zerbi at Spurs.
Whilst the 22-year-old is understood to have made City aware of his interest in a move south, it has now emerged that Tottenham may not be signing just Savinho from the Etihad Stadium, with a second forward now at the centre of inter-club discussions.

That is according to The Athletic's David Ornstein, who reveals that Tottenham Hotspur are working on a deal to sign both Savinho and Omar Marmoush from Manchester City in the final fortnight of the ongoing summer transfer window.
While the report insists that nothing is finalised between the two clubs at this stage, talks between the North London side and their Etihad Stadium counterparts are said to be advancing.
