Arsenal and Chelsea will all be both keeping a close eye on Napoli's transfer activity closely over the coming days, with each club hoping to offload a striker to the Serie A outfit.
However, I Partenopei will need to move a player on themselves before any new arrival can be accommodated.
The club recently parted ways with Romelu Lukaku, selling him to Fenerbahce for approximately £5million, bringing to an end a disappointing two-year spell. The Belgian forward made justy five league appearances due to injuries and fitness problems.
As a result, Napoli are now in the market for a new centre-forward, with several names already being mentioned. Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move to the Italian club throughout the summer.

Jesus has struggled to establish himself in north London of late, with Viktor Gyokeres' arrival 12 months ago pushing him further down the pecking order in Mikel Arteta's plans.
As a result, a departure before the 1 September deadline appears increasingly likely. Yet Jesus is not the only player to have attracted Napoli's attention recently.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have also received an enquiry for Nicolas Jackson. The Senegalese striker is tied to Stamford Bridge until 2033, but appears to have no pathway with the club.

After spending last season on loan with Bayern Munich, Jackson has returned to west London - once again out of favour, though this time under Xabi Alonso rather than Enzo Maresca, who has since departed for Manchester City.
The Blues are expected to continue with Joao Pedro spearheading the attack, who was recently given the No. 9 shirt previously worn by Liam Delap last season.

Given these connections, Arsenal and Chelsea will all be keen to broker a deal with Napoli in the coming days to move on unwanted players and potentially bring in new signings.
However, the Premier League heavyweights will need to wait for Napoli to offload another player to accommodate a respective centre-forward.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Noa Lang could be the player to free up space within Napoli's squad.
According to reports, Atalanta are optimistic about agreeing a loan arrangement for the Dutch winger, which would afford Napoli both financial flexibility and squad room to weigh up their options between Jesus, Jackson and Man United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
