Chelsea will kick off their new Premier League campaign at Fulham on Monday night but questions remain regarding their squad.

New manager Xabi Alonso has made some important tweaks but there could be more activity in the coming days, particularly regarding Enzo Fernandez.

Argentina star Fernandez has been linked with Manchester City but Enzo Maresca's side missed a deadline to meet the Blues' £120million asking price. There is still time for some late drama, though, with the transfer window not shutting until September 1.

A number of players have already left Stamford Bridge this summer, either on loan or on permanent deals. Marc Cucurella and Andrey Santos are among the bigger names in the latter camp, with Chelsea raising the best part of £100m through those moves.

Of course, Chelsea spent more than that on Morgan Rogers alone. The England international is one of 10 new arrivals for Alonso's first team, though one of those - Kazakh striker Dastan Satpayev - will spend this season out on loan.
