Ipswich Town have reportedly shown interest in signing Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus as he assesses his future ahead of the transfer deadline, according to reports in Spain from outlet Diario AS, which claims the Blues are among the clubs tracking the 29-year-old, who featured in the whole of pre-season but was left out of Mikel Arteta’s side for the Community Shield over Manchester City.
This omission has increased speculation that Jesus could be on the move before the window closes, with both Ipswich and Everton reportedly contacting Arsenal about a potential deal.

Italian side Napoli previously held discussions as they searched for a replacement for Romelu Lukaku, who joined Fenerbahce last week. Still, nothing materialised, with reports suggesting Jesus prefers to remain in the Premier League. The forward is chasing a personal milestone by becoming the highest-scoring Brazilian in Premier League history.
He currently sits on 79 goals, three behind Roberto Firmino’s record of 82.

Jesus has enjoyed a very decorated career since emerging at Palmeiras, joining Manchester City in 2017 for £27 million before moving to Arsenal in 2022 for £45 million. Across 243 Premier League appearances, he has scored 79 goals and provided 40 assists.
Last season, he only made 14 appearances in the league, with three of them being starts and scoring three times in 421 minutes.
