PL striker in talks with Rdz, eager to join Spurs with deal very advanced

Manchester City striker Omar Marmoush has reportedly spoken with Tottenham Hotspur manager Roberto De Zerbi and is eager to join Spurs.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club are in advanced talks to sign the Egyptian alongside his teammate Savinho.

Spurs are willing to part with Β£150 million, including bonuses, for both players.

They believe agreeing deals for both attackers is a bargaining chip when it comes to negotiating with Man City.

The Lilywhites also want Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, but a deal is dependent on the Reds signing a replacement.

Understand that Omar Marmoush has spoken to RDZ and is eager to join, to be used as a 9.

Fee likely to reach around 150m incl bonuses. They want a double deal agreed, as they feel it’s a better bargaining chip when it comes to negotiating with city.

Spurs have yet to strengthen in attack this summer and could end up signing Gakpo, Marmoush and Savinho in the coming days.

It will be a perfect end to the window for Tottenham following the earlier additions of defensive and midfield signings.

They have recruited Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Martin Dubravka, Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi in recent weeks.

The likes of Guglielmo Vicario, Djed Spence, Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin and Luka Vuskovic have left.

However, Spurs believe that they have enough options in defence and do not have plans to sign any more players in the position this summer.

De Zerbi will be desperate to hit the ground running when the Premier League campaign kicks off this weekend.

Tottenham travel to Brentford on Saturday for their first league game of the 2026-27 campaign before hosting Charlton Athletic on Wednesday in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
