The victory gives Arsenal yet another positive result during their pre-season preparations for the upcoming season.
Arsenal Women secured a 2-1 victory over Manchester City in a behind-closed-doors friendly at the Sobha Realty Training Centre on Wednesday.
Stina Blackstenius opened the scoring during an entertaining first half, before Manchester City responded through Lauren Hemp shortly before the interval.
The game remained level for much of the second half, but Arsenal found a late winner through new signing Lisa Baum to complete the victory.

Manchester City threatened first, with Khadija Shaw played through on goal before Anneke Borbe raced from her line to head the danger clear.
Borbe was called into action again shortly afterwards, making a strong save to deny Rebecca Knaak from a header following a short corner routine involving Mary Fowler and Aoba Fujino.
Arsenal gradually began to create opportunities of their own, with Georgia Stanway testing Eartha Cumings from distance before Taylor Hinds picked out Stanway again, forcing another save.
The breakthrough arrived in the 24th minute. Chloe Kelly delivered a corner into the area, with Blackstenius getting the decisive touch to flick the ball into the roof of the net and put Arsenal ahead.
City continued to pose a threat before the break, but Borbe produced an excellent save to keep out Shaw’s first-time volley from a Hemp cross, pushing the effort onto the bar.

She was tested again by Greenwood shortly afterwards, tipping another powerful attempt over.
Arsenal were eventually unable to maintain their advantage until half-time. Fowler switched play with a long ball towards Hemp, who cut inside before bending a right-footed effort into the far bottom corner to make it 1-1.
Both sides continued to create chances after the restart. Caitlin Foord struck the bar for Arsenal after combining with Blackstenius and Kelly, while Borbe comfortably dealt with an effort from Hemp at the other end.
Arsenal made a number of changes as the second half progressed, including the introduction of Kyra Cooney-Cross following her return to the side.
The decisive moment came late on, with two new Arsenal signings combining to settle the contest. Selina Cerci threaded a pass through to Baum, who rounded the goalkeeper before calmly finishing across the line.

The Gunners will next face Paris FC at 1pm on Sunday at Mangata Developments Stadium in Borehamwood, before taking on Charlton Athletic at 7pm next Wednesday.
Arsenal’s WSL campaign will then begin away to Brighton & Hove Albion at 12pm on Sunday, September 6.
