Arsenal are looking into whether a deal for Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz could be possible before the summer transfer window closes, with Mikel Arteta keen to complete his attacking options.
The Gunners had identified the left side of their attack as a priority position to strengthen, with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr previously viewed as their ideal target.

However, Vinicius’ decision to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu has forced Arsenal to reconsider their plans, with the club now exploring alternative options.
According to Miguel Delaney of The Independent, Juventus’ Yildiz is high on Arsenal’s list of potential targets, with Arteta particularly keen on the Turkey international.

The 21-year-old would also represent a different type of signing to Arsenal’s recent additions of Ezri Konsa and Bruno Guimaraes. While those players arrived as established stars in their prime, Yildiz would fit the club’s previous strategy of signing young talents with significant room for development.
Arsenal have already added Christos Tzolis to their attacking options this summer, but the club remain interested in strengthening the left side of Arteta’s squad further.
A potential deal for Yildiz, however, would not be straightforward.
Juventus are expected to take a hard-line stance over the future of one of their most highly-rated young players. The Italian club would reportedly demand upwards of £60million for Yildiz, while they would also have to consider the reaction of supporters to selling one of their emerging stars.

One potential solution that has been discussed is Gabriel Martinelli being included in a deal, although such an arrangement would still require considerable negotiations between the two clubs.
Arsenal are also keen to ensure there are further outgoings from the squad before completing more business this summer.
The Gunners have other options under consideration, with Bournemouth forward Jan Kroupi previously viewed as a possibility before his injury ruled out a move this window. He could instead become an option for Arsenal in January.
Julian Alvarez also remains relevant to Arsenal’s attacking plans. The Argentine has been viewed as the club’s main target after Vinicius Jr, although interest cooled after it became apparent that Alvarez wanted to remain in Spain and pursue a move to Barcelona.
With Atletico Madrid currently unwilling to negotiate with Barcelona over Alvarez, Arsenal could potentially see an opportunity develop as the transfer deadline approaches.
For now, Yildiz represents one of the leading alternatives as Arteta looks to complete Arsenal’s squad.
