Rio Ngumoha can see his future at Liverpool

As reported by TEAMtalk, Liverpool are very close to sealing an agreement to sign Bradley Barcola this summer. Bringing another winger is also on the cards. Amidst such scenario, there were rumours that Rio Ngumoha may have to see his future somewhere else as the winger position will be stacked in the squad.

But Fabrizio Romano has clearly stated on his YouTube channel that Ngumoha is absolutely not for sale. The Liverpool youngster is untouchable and will be a key player for Andoni Iraola. The Italian journalist said, “Just to clarify that, should anything happen, Barcola or not Barcola, two wingers because Liverpool’s intention is to add two wingers to the squad, especially if Gakpo goes to Tottenham in any case, Rio Ngumoha is untouchable. Rio Ngumoha was never close to joining Bayern this summer. Rio, for Liverpool, is absolutely crucial part of present and future project.”

Bradley Barcola to Liverpool is now just matter of time

Liverpool are doing everything to get PSG winger Bradley Barcola on board. Personal terms are already agreed therefore they will not be an issue. Barcola wants to join the Merseyside club and Liverpool are working on a deal.

Romano confirmed on his X that the Reds are on active talks to bring Barcola to England. He was not on the bench for PSG in Trophee des Champions against Lens. As reported by London Evening Standard, PSG have dropped their asking price for the French winger from £145m to £110-£120m. Alongside Barcola, Liverpool are also targetting another Paris Saint-Germain winger Ibrahim Mbaye. But a double transfer swoop in a single window may be expensive for Liverpool. So the interest for the Senegalese forward has taken a dip.
