We got spoilt at the start of the summer transfer window, didn't we? The transfer updates were unrelenting, with the next rush of dopamine seemingly never too far away.
However, supporters have been forced to be patient since the signing of Sandro Tonali was confirmed on July 6. Initially, we had the World Cup to keep us busy, but it wasn't long until the cravings for those early-summer rushes returned.
It's been six weeks of selling in North London, and for the most part, we've sold well. Some will point to the fees we earned for the likes of Djed Spence and Cristian Romero, but the pair are moving at the right time.
With the squad streamlined, we can get back to attacking the market. There's one job left to do, and it's a pretty big one. An untouched frontline needs serious rejuvenation, and David Ornstein laid out our next moves with a Wednesday evening 'bomba'.

Orny broke the news of a potential double swoop for Man City's Savinho and Omar Marmoush. We've been incredibly frustrated by the lack of progress surrounding a deal for the former, with City's valuation seemingly always creeping up.
Marmoush has previously been tenuously linked, but he's a player admired by Roberto De Zerbi. If he was to join the club, he'd likely operate as a fluid, sharpshooting No. 9. Savinho is capable down both flanks, and many will wonder whether these two potential deals would stymie our interest in Liverpool's Cody Gakpo.
Reports suggest it may take as much as £150m to sign the City double act, thus lifting our summer outlay up to around the £400m mark. It's already been a splashy summer, and we're set for a grand finale.
Gakpo remains of interest. He's independent of the City deals. Ben Jacobs is among those to report that Spurs want to sign all three before the transfer deadline, but noted that Gakpo would be the toughest deal to pull off.
While the Dutchman is seemingly open to joining Roberto De Zerbi's project, Liverpool almost certainly won't sell unless they sign Bradley Barcola for silly money. There's hardly a guarantee of that happening.
Some speculated that Gakpo could be the center-forward target after all, but the Marmoush update will reassure supportes that the Liverpool star has been identified to upgrade the left-wing position, currently held down by Mathys Tel, who impressed in pre-season.
If we pull off the trifecta, we're talking record spend territory. Liverpool's splurge last summer tallied £440m. Gakpo's signature would put us over the edge.
