Manchester City have finalised an agreement with EFL Championship side West Ham United over a loan for highly-rated attacking midfielder Divine Mukasa, it has been revealed.

It is the latest step in the ongoing development of the highly-rated Manchester City academy graduate, who had been integrated into Pep Guardiola's first-team picture throughout the first-half of the 2025/26 season.
Having first joined City from West Ham United - whom he had played for since the age of five - Mukasa signed for the City Football Academy before progressing through the ranks and making his senior debut in a 0-2 away win against Huddersfield Town in the EFL Cup third round.
Mukasa would make his mark in that fixture by registering an assist for Phil Foden and the England international's opening goal in the contest. City would later on deem it necessary and appropriate to send the teenager out on his first senior loan spell in his career, joining Leicester City in January for the remainder of the campaign.
Having returned to Manchester to join-up with Enzo Maresca's senior squad for pre-season, Divine Mukasa would be named within the first-team squad and travelling roster for the club's tour of Hong Kong and South Korea - failing to see action on the field, however.

Now, according to the information of transfer market insider Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign their former Academy starlet Divine Mukasa from Manchester City on a straight loan agreement for the 2026/27 season.
It is reassured that the EFL Championship side - who were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season - do not hold a buy option clause in the agreement for Mukasa, having agreed terms with the 18-year-old on Thursday.
