The 76ers had one of the best offseasons we've seen a franchise have in a while, bringing in Jaylen Brown through a trade and signing all-time great LeBron James.
They seem like one of the favorites to win it all this season, but one respected NBA legend isn't buying the hype and doesn't believe it's going to happen.

In a recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq, Shaquille O'Neal explained why he thinks Philly is going to have more issues this season than people may think.

"It's not going to work, in my opinion. You just said him, right? Tyrese Maxey just worked his ass off to become the man. Jaylen Brown comes out. So now, for Tyrese Maxey, do you back off, or do you say no, I'm still going to do what I do. Then Bron comes. Now we got Joel Embiid. Too many… It’s too many egos. Three or four people going to have to say, ‘All right, you go,’" O'Neal said (via HoopsHype).
What Shaq is getting at is basically that he thinks this may be a case of 'too many cooks in the kitchen.'
Their starting lineup will have four former all-star players, including two former MVPS, and VJ Edgecombe, who is bound to be an all-star-level player at some point in the next few seasons.

The bench doesn't look too bad either, with players like Anfernee Simons, Dean Wade and others coming off the bench.
Even though injuries have already been brought up as a concern for this group, they have solid depth to make up for it when players are out.
The pressure will be on Philadelphia to win since they've put together such a stacked roster, but so have other teams this summer, so even though it may be unfair to have this standard set, it seems like championship-or-bust for the 76ers, as this core may only be able to play together for so long before apron rules and contracts kick in.
